Last year’s X Factor finalist One Direction will soon have every minute of their lives filmed for a new reality TV show, it has been revealed.
The boyband, who finished third on last year’s show, will be followed around by a film crew for the new fly on-the-wall due to air later this year.
With their debut album set to launch in November and their debut single out next month, Syco boss Simon Cowell wants the TV crews to film the group’s every move in the run up to the album release.
A source told The Sun yesterday: “It’s a no-brainer to make a documentary about One Direction.
“Groupies already turn up at every event they attend and their first single, What Makes You Beautiful, is almost guaranteed to make it to No1.
“It’s still being finalised how the footage will be used. But it’s early days for them so it’s more likely to be on TV than cinemas.”
One Direction debut single What Makes You Beautiful is out on September 11.
