Singer Noel Gallagher has hinted that he would consider a role on The X Factor, if Simon Cowell offered him a ridiculous amount of money.
The former Oasis star was offered the job last year, but he turned it down, reportedly upsetting his 11 year old daughter.
Now, he claims that he would possibly take a judging role, if ITV bosses offered him a whopping £1 million per series.
Gallagher told The Radio Times:
“It’s about six months’ work, innit? I reckon it would have to be a million pounds after tax.”
He added: “I say that tongue-in-cheek.”
“I don’t really want to do it. But a million pounds for six months’ work? That’s good money if you can get it.
“Even I don’t earn that much.”
Noel previously admitted that he and Cowell never got to the money stage of negotiations, when the X Factor offer came through in 2011.
“Money was never mentioned,” Gallagher told The Sun. “I told him he didn’t really want me on there.
“He insisted he did. I insisted harder that he didn’t and he gave up asking.”
