Marcus Collins may feel a bit down for missing out on The X Factor title, but he need not worry because he has gained a mentor for life in Take That’s one and only Gary Barlow.
The Liverpudlian star came in second place on tonight’s series finale of the ITV show, being piped to the post by girl group Little Mix, who became the first group to ever win the show.
Speaking afterwards on The Xtra Factor, Marcus’ mentor Gary Barlow insisted that he will stay in touch with the former hairdresser:
“Absolutely. I’ve said to him, “you’ve got my number, anything you need to know, call me anytime.”
Olly Murs laughed and said:
“You’ll be his mentor forever”
The Take That star replied:
“I don’t mind!”
Collins was gracious in defeat this evening; Just minutes after the result was announced, he congratulated Little Mix saying:
“I am so proud of these girls, they have worked so hard and I’m proud of myself as well. I’ve really enjoyed the whole experience. Best experience of my whole night, honestly.”
Marcos he is the best!!!!
