Tulisa’s little muffins Little Mix, might not have been crown X Factor winner as yet, but that does not seem to have stopped the X Factor machine from planning their involvements in next years Olympics.
According to the Daily Star Sunday, the group are set to perform at the Opening Ceremony next year.
The newspaper claims that Syco boss Simon Cowell, who last night said the group ‘won the night’ after the first half of the weekend’s final, has been in talks with sports chiefs.
The group – made up of Jade, Leigh-Anne, Jesy and Perrie – have been tipped to earn millions over the next few years.
“This is the biggest opportunity an X Factor act will have been offered in the history of the show. It’s taken months to pull off,” a source explained to the tabloid. “To get a new act on the billing has been a massive task.
“Getting this sorted will be impressive, even for a heavyweight name like Simon Cowell.
“Originally they wanted the winning act to perform but even if Marcus or Amelia pull off a shock result, Little Mix are still the stars of the series.”
The source added: “It doesn’t matter if they don’t win this weekend, they’re set to make a killing from this deal.
“Their style has really struck a chord with girls watching the show.”
