2011 X Factor Final: Simon Cowell wants Little Mix to Win

Simon Cowell made a long awaited appearance on the X Factor for the first time this season, calling in from LA via Skype on the Xtra Factor.

Speaking on ITV2 to the X factor judges and hosts Olly Murs and Caroline Flack, Simon said that Little Mix were the act who won the night.

The X Factor boss  said: “The final was absolutely amazing. One of the best finals I have seen… and I wasn’t on it.”

He continued: “No question of doubt, Little Mix won the night.

“I thought the duets were great and all three contestations were great too. Amelia sung well, better than I’ve heard her before, but Little Mix are a revelation. Maybe something special is going to happen.”

Speaking about Sunday’s final showdown, Simon added: “I think tomorrow’s show, Marcus v Little Mix, is going to be sensational.”
