X Factor star Marcus Collins joined his mentor Gary Barlow at the Royal Albert Hall, as a special guest to perform the Stevie Wonder classic tune ‘Lately’ at the charity gig.
Barlow is fronting the two day gig – his first concerts in ten years – in the historic venue this week, all in aid of The Princes Trust and yesterday he asked his X Factor contestant to give a performance for the crowd.
In attendance were members of the Royal family: The Duke and Dutchess of Cambridge (William and Kate) and Prince Charles and Camilla.
After his performance, Marcus tweeted his followers saying:
“Best night of my life I love Gary and our amazing team and especially our fans can’t wait to see you tomorrow what a show we got planned x”
Gary Barlow added:
“What a night!Amazing.was so nice to meet the royal family.loved playing live this week.thankyou for all supporting me and the princestrust.

Today Marcus and Gary are heading to Liverpool and tonight Colins will perform for a crowd in his hometown.
