Changes to Britain Got Talent 2017 semi finals live shows

This week the live semi-finals of Britain Got Talent 2017 kicks off with 40 acts battling to book a place the live final.

Each night eight acts will be performing to win public votes but this year there will be a changes to proceedings. In previous years the act with the most public vote goes straight through to the final as well as the act shown by the judges from the second and third place acts.

However, there will be NO judges’ vote this year. It will simple be the two acts with the highest public votes that will proceed onto the live final on Sunday 4th June with a chance of winning £250,000 and a spot at this year’s Royal Variety Performance.

In addition, at the end of the week there will be a judges wildcard allowing Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams, to select one act of their choosing to go through to the live final.
