Felipe Alviar-Baquero from Rochester hopes to land the £250,000 cash prize on The Apprentice this year.

Colombian-born solicitor is among 20 other candidates hoping to become Lord Sugar’s business partner at the end of the series.

Felipe was selected as one of the Top 100 Colombians in 2012 and says that is biggest business achievement to date is designing and launching a children’s play area, and he was also chosen to carry the Olympic Torch on its route to the London 2012 games.

He is passionate about social entrepreneurship and is a trustee for a British charity that helps support vulnerable children in Colombia.

He says: “I studied law because I wanted to change the world. But my real passion is business.”
