Britain's Got Talent Semi Finals

CountryVive country line dancing open the show on Monday night semi-final of Britain’s Got Talent 2014

Country music and dance were brought back to the Britain’s Got Talent stage by CountryVive an 18 members strong dance troupe who have been performing together for 5 years.

At their first audition they got the judges up on their feet dancing and were rewarded by four yeses and a standing ovation that saw them through to tonight’s live semi-finals.

There is no doubt that this group is looking to make country dance contemporary and current on this side of the Atlantic.

Tonight they opened the show with a dance routine that failed to meet Simon Cowell expectations. However, the other judge thought they were simply brilliant.

Simon Cowell told them: I thought you were really good the first time I saw you but tonight was a bit of a mess. This is the kind of thing you would see at any country and western dance club. The finals of BGT I would have expected something better. You are going to need a miracle to get through!

Alesha Dixon: You are sic harming and you make us want to be up there with you.

Amanda Holden: You seemed doubly better today and none of us could keep still.

David Walliams: What a fantastic start to the show. I never knew Country dancing could be so sexy.
