Tom Barnwell, Pete Davies, Gary Poole, Kenny Thompson, Joe West showcase their vocals on The Voice UK 2014 auditions

Tom Barnwell, Pete Davies, Gary Poole, Kenny Thompson and Joe West are some of the male singers that showcased their vocals on The Voice UK last blind auditions episode.

After seven weeks of auditions the coaches must finally complete their line up of the acts they want to take to the next round. Tonight Tom, Pete, Gary and Kenny among others are hoping to impress with their performances to keep their hopes alive of becoming the next winner of the hit BBC show.

Opening the show was ambulance controller Tom Barnwell, who puts his spin on Estelle’s hit ‘American Boy’, a track co-produced by Will.i.am himself.

Gary Poole, a member of former boyband trio Troi sang ‘Valerie’ by Amy Winehouse. The 48-year-old music teacher told the coaches of his past of being repeatedly signed and dropped.

29-year-old Kenny Thompson, hypnotises Will.i.am with his performance of ‘New York State Of My Mind’ while 19-year-old Joe West, sang ‘Mirrors’ by Justin Timberlake.

Pete Davis was one of the last acts to perform in the final battle to land the last spot in the coaches’ line-up for the battle rounds.
