Bob Blakeley impressed on The Voice UK with Cry Me A River by Julie London

55-year-old Bob Blakeley is one of this year’s oldest contestants on The Voice UK and tonight he wowed The Voice coaches with his rendition of Cry Me A River by Julie London version.

On Saturday Kitchen earlier today, The Voice presenter Emma Willis said Bob is one of the best singers she had ever heard.

After his audition, the Warehouse operative from Brinnington, said his whole experiences on the show was like a dream. He got a kiss from Kylie Minogue and got to meet his all-time idol, Sir Tom Jones.

Bod is a dad of five and has been singing at pubs and clubs for years, and always dreamed of making a career out of it. However, it was his daughter, Joanne Pendlebury, who actually put him forward for his audition.

Bob Blakely the one that got away. Shame. Great voice presence and attitude.
