alice fredenham cry me a river BGTsemi finalBeautiful, shy, nervous are the first three words that spring to mind when I think of Alice Fredendham. Throw in the word talented also,  and you have the makings of a superstar.

In her pre performance VT she admitted to suffering from massive self-doubt but promised that she would do her best to overcome her nerves on the live show.

Tonight the 28 year old classic Jazz singer sang ‘Cry Me A River’, but looking very different from when we last saw her at the auditions. Tonight she looked every bit a star and she delivered a performance that impressed the panel too.

Although it would appear Alice made a mistake in the song, the judges did not hold that against her.

David Walliams said :  You are every inch the star and I love it when someone stands on the stage and draws us in. From the moment you appeared on the show people have been talking about you as a potential winner and I hope they vote for you tonight.

Alesha Dixon :  Trust me when I tell you this, your voice is so seductive and beautiful. It was alluring, majestic and mystical. Please do not doubt yourself, that was great.

Amanda Holden :  You should be proud of yourself, There are so many celebrities out there but not many stars. You are a star I promise you

Simon Cowell concluded : Making a mistake on the song is not the end of the world. There has been so much controversy about you, I am not easily fooled. The person I saw when you auditioned was the real you. It is liquid platinum this voice. You have potential if you start believing in yourself. I really hope that the public get behind you because you deserve to get through to the final.
