Walt Disney to hire David Williams from Britain’s Got Talent for Poetry Reading

David Walliams has landed a job with Disney as a member of cast that will narrate a second series of poetry shorts for Disney Junior UK.

The series will not only create new stories but looks set to revive Disney classic stories too.

Richard Briers, Michelle Dockery and Jessica Hynes will also support A Poem Is… which will start later this month.

Disney UK’s general manager, Boel Ferguson, said:

“Combining timeless poetry with imagery from some of Disney’s most beloved animations is a fantastic way for young children and their parents to enjoy the beauty of a poem well read.”
