Britain’s Got Talent 2011 Auditions: Ventriloquist Reece Daly splits the Judging panel

Reece dalyThe 15 year old school boy Reece Dayl admitted that he had only performed in front of ten people, at most, before his GBT audition and told Ant and Dec that he was terrified about showcasing his act for Amanda Holden, Michael McIntyre and David Hasselhoff.

Reece then stunned Holden with a funny and imaginative ventriloquist act.

After his performance Amanda said:

“When you first came on I was a bit like….oh God!… but then you started doing your act, you are actually really good and I think you’ve got potential.”

David Hasselhoff continued:

“You’re really god kid, but you’ve got to step out of the box. Make it a little bit more creative. Don’t just do stuff that’s corny, do stuff that’s like really different and you’ll be on your way.”

Michael McIntyre added

“Some of the things you were doing I recognised as not being original. I enjoyed it but I’m not sure if I enjoyed it enough.”

So after seeming to split the panel, Amanda gave Reece a yes, The Hoff said no insisting that Reece isn’t ready and Michael at first looked like he would refuse him a place in the next round also.

Thankfully for the teenager, Holden talked him round and in the end, the resident comic agreed to give him another shot.
