Britain’s Got Talent 2011: Dance Troupe Abyss Split the Judges at Their Audition

AbyssAbyss dance troupe split the judging panel after delivering a very polished routine at their audition.

After their performance Amanda Holden tells the boys that she doesn’t think they’re good enough for the competition.

Amanda tells them : “Abyss, I thought you were good, I thought there were some good moves in there. I don’t think that you are as good as that standard that’s already been set on this show. I cannot help but have to compare you to Diversity, sorry.”

However one of the group’s members disagrees with Amanda and hits back: “Diversity was two years ago, you’ve got to look for the younger generation. You cannot compare us to them.”

Amanda replied: “I agree, but they are still massive representatives of what we are looking for on this show.”

“You’re saying no one else can step up to the plate?” the dancer continued.
Amanda stood her ground, saying: “I know what you’re saying, but I don’t think that today you did step up.”

Guest judge Louis Walsh meanwhile disagrees with Amanda, telling her: “Amanda, I thought they were amazing. I thought they were slick, well rehearsed and I loved it.”

Michael McIntyre added: “I am completely new to this and I was blown away. I thought it was likeable, talented, but I understand as well what Amanda is saying.”
