Stacey Solomon set to enter the race for the Christmas number one

Stacey Solomon is set to release her rendition of ‘Driving Home for Christmas’ in a bit to secure the Christmas number one spot in the singles chart.

The former X Factor finalist is reportedly said to be going head to head with this year’s X Factor winner for Christmas number one… with her track from Iceland’s Xmas advert!

The Essex born star – who recently announced she was pregnant – will release Christmas single for charity.

Proceeds from the sales of the track will go towards Alzheimer’s Research UK and Together For Short Lives.

“If I got Christmas No 1 it would be the best feeling in the world. I’d be ecstatic,” Stacey told The Sun. “I don’t know if I’d be able to look Simon Cowell in the eye!

“No I don’t think he’d talk to me!”
