Plymouth Volksfest is a VW themed weekend held at Newnham Park on the outskirts of Plymouth. This year the four days festival will coincide with the celebration of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
There will be over 120 live acts on three stages, 65+ family orientated activities, top quality caterers, and a free day on Monday 4th June to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee.
The event aims to offer everyone a chilled out family friendly weekend with lots of entertainment for all. They have two music tents, a comedy tent, children’s entertainment, stalls and more, not forgetting the Show’n’Shine VW displays.
Whilst this festival is called Volksfest, it is not prohibitive in letting non-Volkswagon owners attend. Whilst many VW owners camp in special reserved camping beside the main arena, above the arena on the slopes of Newnham Park is open to all.
