The fifth and last semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent got on the way tonight with the last set of acts all trying to book a place in the live final.
Tonight’s result show saw the return of two of last year’s finalist, Attractions and Adam & Richard who delivered a brilliant joint performance a head of the results.
Once the results were in, hosts Ant and Dec announced that Paddy & Nico, Jack Pack and Bailey McConnell were in the top three. And with the most votes, vocal swing group Jack Pack had won a guaranteed spot in the live final.
It was then up to the judges to decide to put through either ballroom dancers Paddy & Nico or singer Bailey McConnell.
Simon Cowell voted first and he said: “I’m going to go with Bailey.”
David Walliams said: “It’s so hard because you can’t compare the two. I’ve no doubt Bailey will go on to become a huge star, but I think tonight belonged to Paddy and Nico.”
Alesha Dixon said: “Oh my Goodness, I love you both, my heart is telling me to go with Paddy and Nico!”
Amanda Holden, who gave Paddy and Nico her golden buzzer act, voted for the pair to go to the final with three votes to one.
