Ventriloquist Sam Jones from Brighton impresses the panel on Britain’s Got Talent with his act despite his tourettes condition.
Sam revealed to his local news paper, The Argus that he didn’t apply for the show, he was nominated as part of the ‘BGT Scouts’ contest.
The Scouts competition gives friends and family members the opportunity to put forward people they know for the show, with a £10,000 cash prize for the Scout if their nominated act went on to win.
“I don’t know who nominated me,” Sam said. “I just got a call saying that they’d seen clips of me on YouTube and would like me to audition for Britain’s Got Talent, I was over the moon.”
Sam, who was diagnosed with Tourette’s syndrome at the age of just nine, also revealed that he was nervous about performing for the panel but his nerves got WORSE when Simon Cowell did NOT appear.
