Eva Iglesias sings Natural Woman on Britain’s Got Talent 2014 auditions

Eva Iglesias, a 40 year old supermarket personal shopper from Southampton, sang her heart out at her Britain’s Got Talent auditions to impress the panel.

Eva confess that she was ready to swap shelves for the stage: “It’s a fun job but if I could sing full-time without working in a supermarket it would be out of this world.

“I’ve auditioned a lot of times over the years and if you want something and you want to go and get it then you’ll get it. You have just have to believe in yourself”.

Her passionate and emotional rendition of Aretha Franklin’s Natural Woman struck a chord with the judges and audience alike on her big night.

David Walliams tells her: “We never have anyone, hardly ever who comes on sings with that passion and emotion. You really were singing from the heart, it was like your life depended on it.”

A very emotional Simon Cowell said: “You came out here and that is one of the most beautiful songs of all time, written by Carole King, and her heart was broken when she wrote that song. I understand why you were giving it what you gave it.”
