Office worker Andrew Derbyshire from London, impressed the judges with his vocals at his Britain’s Got Talent audition.
Andrew previously auditioned and made it through to the televised rounds of Pop Idol, the year Will Young won the series and tonight he returns to ITV to deliver a rendition of Somebody Else’s Guy for the BGT judges.
He told the panel: “I am here today to sing for the judges….or attempt to anyway.”
“I first started singing when I was 3 and I have been singing all my life. It’s my passion. I do a bit of office work just to earn some money and pay my rent. I have done everything. I was meeter, greeter in Argos, I’ve sprayed perfume in Debenhams.
“I would be lying if I said I wasn’t waiting for that break.”
Derbyshire went on to deliver a performance that got the whole crowd up on their feet and dancing as he performed.
