Posh Violinist Lettice Rowbotham from London, wows the judges with her performance and personality on Britain’s Got Talent 2014 auditions.
24-year-old Lettice is a classically trained violinist who started playing from the age of 4 at the Yehudi Menuhin School, Purcell School of Music, Royal College of Music and Charterhouse.
Her years of experience showed as she performed the track ‘Good Feeling’ for the judges.
Before her performance David Walliams told her: “I think you might be the poshest contestant we’ve ever had on the show.”
Lettice told the panel: “When I was 4 my parents gave me a plastic violin and I was furious! I really wanted a real violin.”
“When they gave me a real one I took to it like a duck to water.”
After listening to a classical take on Flo Rida’s Good Feeling and OneRepublic’s Counting Stars Amanda Holden says: “You had me at hello. You made that beautiful violin sexy. You have everything going on.”
Alesha Dixon raves: “You spread joy everywhere you go and on top of that you’re a skilled musician. I loved it.”
David Walliams loves Lettice’s personality as much as her performing
skills and says: “Apart from having this great talent you really put on a show.”
Simon Cowell adds: “Not only are you brilliant but you’ve got a fantastic personality too. You are one of the people I will remember coming away from this.”
