How did James More do that with his sword? James More pulled off a trick that gave the impression that he stabbed himself with a sword during is Britain’s Got Talent 2013 audition.
The magician from London shocked the studio audience and judges when he was lowered onto a sword as part of his act and gave the impression that the sword had passed right through him.
James, a 24 year old full-time illusionist, admits on the show that he’s going to have a tough time winning Simon over. But is act contain the sort of danger element that Simon Cowell loves as David Walliams was quick to highlight in a sarcastic manner.
James is seen balancing on a sword with the help of two assistants, before the blade appears to pierce through his body, to screams from both the judges and audience.
David tells him: “It was amazing.”
And Simon seems won over too, adding: “You look great. You’ve got fantastic confidence, very slick.”
