Robbie Kennedy Impressed at Britain’s Got Talent 2013 Auditions

Robbie Kennedy look set to take his career to the next level after wowing the judges and studio audience at his audition in Cardiff.

The 22-year-old from South Wales receives a standing ovation from all four judges following his amazing rendition of Goo Goo Dolls hit track ‘Iris’.

However, his audition got off to a bad start with Simon Cowell when Robbie started singing his first song. The music mogul and BGT judge requested that the bricklayer change the song, which as it turned out was the right decision on seeing the reaction of the crowd.

Simon told the singer: ‘I’ve got to be honest with you, I wasn’t expecting that. Do you know what Robbie, I think that if you put that record out you would have a number one hit with that song. Loved it.’

An equally impressed Alesha Dixon added: ‘Robbie, you are so likeable. My heart is pounding. You just knocked me out. You have been blessed with a true gift.’

Amanda Holden tells him ‘Robbie your voice is outstanding; You’re 22, where have you been? You were brilliant.’
