Tina and Chandi won the public vote on Tuesday night’s Britain’s Got Talent semi finals whilst Connected won the judges vote over Neil Fullard.
Yes, the dancing rescue dog secured the third spot on this Saturday’s BGT finals. Just getting the concept of a dog that can dance in my head just seem totally unreal, but there is no doubt, this dog can really dance.
With synchronised choreographed moves that most humans could only dream about, keeping in step and not treading on her partner’s toes, are just some of the talents that Chandi displayed on the night that saw her and handler Tina stormed through to the finals.
Judges Comments:
Piers Morgan: “Chandi has the poise, the footwork, the grace, I’m thinking that Chandi is the dog equivalent of Wayne Rooney. After that, like Mr Rooney, Chandi has a very big chance of winning a very big competition.
Amanda Holden: “It’s funny, I can feel myself welling up because of the affection between you.”
Simon Cowell seeing Tina and Chandi for the first time – because Louis Walsh was heading the panel during her audition – said: “What can I say? I love her! She is absolutely adorable. It just goes to show if you love a dog they love you back, to think she was a rescue dog – she’s amazing.”
Simon then asked Tina if she would repeat the ballet routine they did in the auditions if they made it to the finals. Tina replied:
“I’d like to come up with something completely new instead of going back”.
I think that was good, because it leaves the viewing public with something new to look forward to in the finals. Can’t wait!
