The Celtic Colleens gave a recent radio interview where they said they are excited about appearing on tonight’s Britain’s Got Talent fifth semi final.
The 26 string girls dance troupe from Crawley, West Sussex, attends the O’Brien School of Irish Dance in Sussex and was announced on Sunday as one of this year’s Britain’s Got Talent final 40 acts.
The girls are all aged between 9 and 30 and they are hoping that their energetic dance routine, which contain neon costumes and very bright light, will be enough to impress the judges and the viewing public.
Speaking to Heart FM, the groups teacher admitted that the girls are ‘excited’ about doing the show, saying:
“ They are very excited; they are taking it in their stride. It’s quite a lot of work for everybody involved but they seem quite laid back about it.”
