Follow The Right Path

Follow The Right Path, a pair of rappers – Jamie, 14, and George, 13 – gave an inspiring performance at their Britain’s Got Talent audition that impressed the judges and audience alike.

The young duo, who said they are inspired by US star Eminem, wow the judges  with a performance of their own written rap.

Speaking before their audition, Jamie says: “Me and George grew up in the same area, we play for the same football team and now we started doing music together and my first ever mike was a computer microphone that my sister bought me from Asda.”

George adds: “My inspiration is Eminem, I thought he was amazing, what he was doing, and so we tried it and started to enjoy it. Today is a big day for us. It’ll be the first time that we’ve performed together, but we’re confident in ourselves that we can make it.”

The duo performs a rap about their granddads for the judges to cheers from the audience.

Amanda tells the pair: “Boys, I thought it was an excellent tribute to both your granddads who obviously had a massive influence in your lives. I think you both did your granddads proud.”

“He taught me the wrongs and rights about life,” reveals George.

Michael meanwhile commented: “These are young guys affected by something and they’ve used that. Lyrically it was heartfelt, I thought. I was very impressed.”

Guest judge Louis Walsh adds: “Guys, I’m very impressed with you as two 13 and 14 year old kids, in fact, I thought it sounded like a hit record. I think your granddads would be very proud of you. You’re great role models for young kids.”

Needless to say the boys sailed through to the next round with three Yes votes from the judges. Check out their performance below:
