A young five piece boyband called ‘Connected’ impressed the audience and judges on last night’s Britain’s Got Talent, performing a cover of Backstreet Boys’ ‘I Want It That Way’.
The group is made up of 13-year-old twins Conor and Miles, 12-year-old Matt, 13-year-old Harry and Max, 15.
They told Ant and Dec: “We’re Connected, the reason why we’re called ‘Connected’ is because we are all like family, we’re brothers, twins and friends”
“A lot of kids have different hobbies to us, many like football or other sports but we get our kicks from singing”
“Our dream for Connected is to be the next boyband of the new decade, recording singles, albums, it’s an absolute dream for us”
Following their performance, Piers said: “I was the official biographer for Take That so I’m an expert in first stages of boyband and I think we’ve got something quiet good here.”
Amanda added: “I got goosebumps the minute you all started singing, and I think you have a big future ahead of you.”
Simon said: “It’s 15 years out of date, I think a group like you should tell me how modern bands should be instead of impersonating another group. I think what you’ve done is the wrong thing.”
The group then performed another song ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’, stunning all of the judges and the crowd to win a place in the next round.
Win or loose could they be the next Justin Bieber?
i love you
