Mary Berry Christmas trifle with sherry, pears, Maraschino cherries and amaretti biscuits recipe

Mary Berry served up a delicious fruity Christmas trifle with pears, Maraschino cherries, amaretti biscuits and sherry on Mary Berry’s Ultimate Christmas.

The ingredients include: 1 can of pears, drained and chopped, 1 jar of Maraschino cherries, trifle sponges, strawberry jam, amaretti biscuits, 100ml sherry, 150 ml reserved pear juice, A can of tinned custard and 150ml double cream.

For the caramel shard topping: 100g sugar and 6 tbsp water.
