Nadiya Hussain savoury French toast with turmeric and garlic recipe on Nadiya’s Time to Eat

Nadiya Hussain served up tasty savoury French toast with turmeric, garlic, egg, ham and cheese on Nadiya’s Time to Eat.

The ingredients are: 6 free-range eggs, 100ml full-fat milk, ½ tsp salt, 2 tsp sugar, ¼ tsp ground turmeric, 1 tsp garlic granules, 1 tsp onion granules, 6 slices sliced white bread, 3 slices cooked ham, turkey or meat-substitute such as Quorn, 3 slices mild cheese and vegetable oil, for frying.
