John Torode chocolate buttermilk cake recipe on John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen

John Torode and Lisa Faulkner served up a delicious chocolate buttermilk cake with raspberries and whipped Cream on John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen.

The ingredients are: 50g Cocoa Powder, 125g Butter, 125ml Vegetable Oil, 250ml Water, 375g Sugar, 2 Whole Eggs, Pinch of salt, 250g Self raising flour, 15g Baking Powder, 125ml Buttermilk (or yogurt if you prefer) and 125g Dark Chocolate.

To serve: Raspberries and Whipped Cream.

For a fancy option: 150g dark chocolate (the higher the cocoa solids the better), 150ml of double cream, Rehydrated raspberry powder and Icing sugar.
