Simon Rimmer served up beef with black bean and chilli sauce stir fry on Sunday Brunch.

The ingredients are: 600g fillet steak, cut into 10mm slices, 50ml mirin, 5g sugar, 75ml oil, 1 very thinly sliced white onion, 30mm piece ginger, julienned, 3 cloves sliced garlic, 25ml black bean sauce, 30ml mirin, 50ml light soy, 15ml malt vinegar, 5g brown sugar, 2 long red chillies, cut into very thin strips and half red pepper, thinly sliced.

The dish is served with sesame seeds and finely chopped spring onions.
