Mary’s sticky toffee pudding with black treacle sauce recipe on Mary Berry Everyday

Mary Berry served up dark sticky toffee pudding with a black treacle sauce on Mary Berry Everyday.

The ingredients are: 100g butter, softened, plus extra for greasing, 175g light muscovado sugar, 2 large free-range eggs, 225g self-raising flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda, 3 tbsp black treacle and 275ml full-fat milk.

For the sauce: 100g butter, 125g light muscovado sugar, 1 tbsp black treacle, 300ml pouring double cream and 1 tsp vanilla extract.
