2011: Sam Brooks Week 3 X Factor Song Choice

Sam Brookes has been dropping hints about her song choice for this weekend’s live show.

The 31 year old singer spoke to Matt Johnson on This Morning earlier today, Brookes said:

“I’m doing an icon, the artist I’m doing is an icon so I’m very scared about doing her song. But I’m going to try my hardest; it’s a popular song so I pray that the public will keep us in.”

Sam also used the pleaded with viewers to vote for her and her fellow contestant Johnny Robinson, saying:

“We know there’s a recession on at the moment and everyone is hard on money, but if anyone can spare a vote for me and our Johnny we’ll be eternally grateful. We’re going to need it….we’re the oldies!”

Robinson admitted that he isn’t nervous about taking to the stage for the third time at all and when asked if he was worried about performing for the judges again, he laughed:

“No love I’m looking forward to it, it’s going to be fun.”

Our guess is that Sam will be singing something by Tina Turner, possibly ‘Simply The Best’. Let’s see if we are correct later when we get the list of songs through.
