Kelly Rowland has denied rumours that Destiny’s Child are planning to reunite later this year.
The singer insisted that despite remaining close to fellow band members, Beyoncé and Michelle Williams, they have not discussed making a new Destiny’s Child record.
“To be honest with you – myself, Michelle and B – we haven’t talked about it. It has not come up in our conversations,” she told Billboard.
“We talk about everything else… But we haven’t talked about that yet.”
The X Factor judge also admitted that comparisons to Beyoncé do not bother her, but she does not like that Williams is sidelined by the media.
Rowland added: “What kind of angers me a bit is just the fact that Michelle is in Destiny’s Child, too, and respect her and know that it’s three of us – it’s not two.
“It’s just really great that we’re all doing different things and we’re all happy in our space.”
Kelly Rowland’s new album Here I Am is scheduled for release in the UK this autumn.
