Roger Federer beat Rafael Nadal in a thrilling 5 sets match in the Australian Open tennis final of 2017.

This is only the second time that the 35-year-old Swiss has beaten Nadal, age 30 in a grand slam final.

Federer sealed victory with 6-4 3-6 6-1 3-6 6-3 to claim his fifth Melbourne title and extend his lead at the top of the all-time men’s major winners’ list.
