Jamie’s mega meatballs recipe on Jamie and Jimmy’s Friday Night Feast

Jamie Oliver served up tasty mega meatballs with beer and dirty American gravy on Jamie and Jimmy’s Friday Night Feast.

Jamie says: “This gorgeous comfort food dish is quick and easy – warm subs, loaded with juicy meatballs and melted cheese, and served with a show-stopping gravy for ultimate dunking.”

The ingredients are: olive oil, 1 small potato, 500 g higher-welfare minced shoulder of pork, 500 g quality minced beef, 4 sprigs of fresh rosemary, 6 submarine rolls, 1 splash of red wine vinegar, 100 g Red Leicester cheese and 50 g watercress.

For The Gravy: 2 red onions, 1 bulb of fennel, 1 heaped tablespoon plain flour, 1 splash of Porter, 1 litre organic chicken stock, 1 tablespoon HP sauce, 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon English mustard and 1 tablespoon Geeta’s mango chutney.
