Dean’s masala braised lamb shanks curry recipe on Lorraine

Dean Edwards served up a tasty masala braised lamb shanks curry dish on today’s episode of Lorraine.

The ingredients: 4 small lamb shanks, 1 onion, finely sliced, 4 cloves garlic, crushed, 1 thumb sized piece ginger, grated, 1 green chilli, deseeded and diced, 1 tsp ground cinnamon, 2 tbsp garam masala, 1 tsp mustard seeds, ½ tsp turmeric, 1 heaped tbsp tomato puree, 500g carton tomato passata, 400g can coconut milk, 300ml chicken stock, 400g can chickpeas, drained, 1 heaped tbsp mango chutney and Fresh coriander to garnish.
