Beef stroganoff recipe on The Hairy Bikers’ Northern Exposure

Si and Dave served up a tasty beef stroganoff dish in Russia on The Hairy Bikers’ Northern Exposure.

The Bikers says: “This is a super speedy beef stroganoff but still packs a flavour punch, serve with chips or noodles.”

The ingredients are: 600g beef fillet, cut into 1cm/½in cubes, 25g butter, 1 onion, thinly sliced, 250g button mushrooms, thinly sliced, 1 tbsp Dijon mustard, 400ml beef stock, 1 tbsp vegetable oil, 2 heaped tbsp sour cream or crème fraiche, 1 tbsp brandy (optional), finely chopped parsley, to serve and salt and freshly ground black pepper.
