Simon Rimmer served up a tasty loukoumades, deep-fried Greek style doughnuts with an orange and pistachio sauce, with a little help from Dermot O’leary on Sunday Brunch.
The ingredients are: 250g flour, 1 tsp salt, 3 tsp dried yeast, 250ml warm water, 1 tbs clear honey, Oil to deep fry.
For the sauce: 1 tbs soft light brown sugar, Zest and juice of half an orange, 15ml water, 15g butter, 50g lightly crushed pistachios, 5g ground cinnamon, 5g icing sugar and 1 tbs thick greek yoghurt.
