Gino D’Acampo served up lemon mousse with limoncello liqueur and amaretti biscuit on the Amalfi Coast in Gino’s Italian Escape.
The ingredients are: 250g mascarphone cheese, zest of 2 unwaxed lemons, 3 tsp limoncello liqueur, 3 egg whites, 50g caster sugar and 8 amaretti biscuits.
Limoncello is an Italian lemon liqueur mainly produced in the region around the Gulf of Naples, the Sorrentine Peninsula and the coast of Amalfi.
