James Martin serves up fruits de mer with lobster and crab served with homemade rye bread and whipped butter for a crowd pleaser on James Martin: Home Comforts.

James says: “Fresh seafood is one of life’s joys – just add warm (homemade) bread, lightly whipped butter and mayo.”

The ingridents for the fruits de mer: 12 langoustines, 12 razor clams, scrubbed, 400g clams in their shells, scrubbed, 1 x 1kg cooked lobster, 1 medium-sized cooked brown crab, 8 oysters, shucked, 16 cooked shrimps in their shells and 200g cooked brown shrimps.

For the mayonnaise, 3 free-range egg yolks, 1 tbsp Dijon mustard, 2 tbsp cider vinegar, 1 unwaxed lemon, juice and finely grated zest, 300ml rapeseed oil and salt and freshly ground black pepper.
