Frances Quinn gingerbread cupcakes recipe on This Morning

Frances Quinn from the Great British Bake Off makes gingerbread cupcakes for the festive season on This Morning.

The ingredients for the topping: 500g mascarpone, 100g icing sugar and Few drops of peppermint extract.

For the decoration: 100g white fondant, 100g desciccated coconut, Handful of mint imperials, cadburys snow bites, glacier mints, Silver balls, Edible silver glitter and Mini indoor sparklers (optional).

For the cakes: 100g butter, 100g dark muscovado sugar, 100g golden syrup, 100g black treacle, 100ml whole milk, 2 eggs, 2 tsp ground ginger, 2 tsp ground mixed spice and 100g self-raising flour.
