It is the last challenge before next week’s final and the semifinalist are tasked by Paul and Mary to make entremets as part of today’s patisserie baking theme challenges.
The showstopper challenge raises the bar even higher for the final four bakers who must bake nonstop to create two elegant entremets. They were asked to show as many skills and techniques as they can possibly pack in because this was their last chance to fight for their place in the final.
The semifinalist must make 12 of each type of entremets to a high standard.
Entremets are a classic French dessert with layers of mousse, cremeux, cake, and often a hint of crunch are equally adored for their beauty as much as their taste.
