Sherbet dipper and Pulled butter toffee recipes on Sweets Made Simple with Kitty Hope and Mark Greenwood

Kitty Hope and Mark Greenwood makes sherbet dippers and pulled butter toffees on Sweets Made Simple.

The duo says about their pulled butter toffees: “Traditional, rich and creamy butter toffee is easier to make than you might think.”

And about their sherbet dippers: “For a super sweet treat, share out these lemon lollies dipped in homemade zingy lemon sherbet.”

The ingredients for the sherbet dippers are: vegetable oil, for greasing, 150g/5½oz granulated sugar, ½ lemon, juice only, 1 tbsp liquid glucose, 4 lolly sticks, 1 lemon and 100g caster sugar and 1 tsp powdered citric acid (from the chemist).

For the butter toffees: vegetable oil, for greasing, 1–2 rashers of unsmoked streaky bacon, 10g pecans, toasted and chopped, 150g caster sugar, 25g golden syrup, 2 tbsp maple syrup and 4 lolly sticks.
