Paul Hollywood showcased delicious vegan iced ring biscuits for a technical challenge on The Great celebrity Bake Off SU2C.
The ingredients for the biscuits are: 90g vegan unsalted butter, at room temperature, 75g caster sugar, 1 tbsp unsweetened almond milk, ½ tsp vanilla extract, 135g plain flour, plus extra for dusting, 1½ tsp cornflour, ¼ tsp baking powder and ¼ tsp salt.
For the icing: 280g icing sugar, 4 tbsp aquafaba (drained from a can of chickpeas), ¼ tsp vanilla extract, 1 tsp glycerine, Red food colouring and Orange food colouring.
