Marcus Wareing goats’ cheese rarebit with leeks, ale, horseradish, hazelnut garden salad and grapes recipe

Marcus Wareing served up tasty goats’ cheese rarebit with leeks, ale, horseradish, hazelnut garden salad and grapes on Marcus Wareing’s Tales from a Kitchen Garden.

The ingredients are: 2 leeks, washed and trimmed, 30g butter, 1 tbsp mustard, 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 30g plain flour, 125ml ale, 100g cheddar cheese, grated, 100g soft goats’ cheese, crumbled and 4 slices bread, such as sourdough.

To serve: 3 tbsp sherry vinegar, 3 tbsp hazelnut oil, 100g toasted hazelnuts, crushed, 500g salad leaves, washed and ready to use, 150g log goats’ cheese and handful muscat grapes.
