Rustie Lee pork chops with pear and cider recipe on Steph’s Packed Lunch

Rustie Lee served up tasty pork chops with pear and cider on Steph’s Packed Lunch.

The ingredients are: 6 tablespoons Olive oil (divided – half for cooking the pears, half for the chops), 4 pears (2 thinly sliced & 2 halved with the centers scooped out), 3 red onions, sliced, 2 tablespoons chopped rosemary, plus extra rosemary for presentation, 2 tablespoons chopped thyme, 4 large pork chops (8-10 oz each), 4 teaspoons salt, 2 teaspoons fresh red chili pepper, 2 teaspoons ground black pepper, 3/4-pint chicken stock, 1/2-pint pear or apple cider and 2 tablespoons cornstarch, dissolved in 8 tablespoons cold water.
