Dr Amir Vegetable Curry with Easy Flatbread recipe on Lorraine

Dr Amir served up a healthy No Butts Vegetable Curry with Easy Flatbread that will to reduce the risk of bowel cancer on today’s episode of Lorraine.

The ingredients are: 4 tbsp olive oil, ½ tsp black onion seeds, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp mustard seeds, ½ tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp salt, 1 tsp garlic paste, 1 tsp ginger paste, 2 cups water, 1 white onion, chopped finely, 4 large tomatoes, chopped, 3 carrots, sliced into coins, 8 baby potatoes, chopped into quarters, 1.5 cups frozen peas, 2 cups frozen cauliflower florets and Roughly chopped spinach leaves.

For the flatbread: 300g self-raising flour, ½ tsp baking powder, 150g natural yoghurt, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp olive oil, Oil and chilli flakes to garnish.
