Michela Chiappa served up a tasty lasagna verdi (vegetarian green lasagna with walnut and sage pesto) on This Morning.

The ingredients for the pesto are: ½ clove of garlic , Salt , 100g chopped walnuts, Zest and juice of 1 lemon, 100g freshly grated Parmesan cheese, 20 fresh sage leaves and 5-8 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil.

For the white sauce: 160g salted butter, 160g plain flour, 160ml milk , Salt and pepper.

For the lasagna: 1x quantity of green pasta (shop bought: 7-10 green lasagne sheets) , 100g grated Parmesan cheese + 40g for the sauce, 300g mozzarella cheese grated or torn , 8 fresh sage leaves and 1 teaspoon olive oil.
